Training Clubs
Tracking- First Saturday of the month 9:00 to 11:00. Cost: donation Primitive Skills-Thursday evenings at 6:00. Cost: donation Caretaking- Sunday before and after gatherings. No cost Tarzan Training- First Saturday of the month 1:00-3:00
Tribal Edge Gym: (385 w. Silberhorn rd. Sequim) Fitness- personal training and classes in this ultimate workout system of constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement. Martial Arts- Asian Fighting Arts provides Sikal- a blend of Silat and Kali. See martial arts flyer. Personal training- Consulting, coaching and mentoring. By appointment: 60.00 per hour. Body work- Deep tissue and treatment massage. Jin shin do acupressure. By appt: 60/ hour.
Monthly Training
Sunday Gatherings: Free- First Sunday of every month from 3:00 to dark. Enjoy community, working on skills, training, news and Tribal edge class and schedule updates. potluck dinner.

Bow making- Learn the process of making a bow- from harvesting to shooting. Fiber arts- Discover the arts of twisting plant and animal fibers to create beautiful products. Stone tools- Create beautiful points and blades with the art of flint knapping. Hide tanning- Processing animal hides through brain tanning to create a variety of useful items. Knife making- In the tradition of blacksmithing, you will design and forge your own knife. Mentoring- Parents, teachers, and others learn to inspire learning with ancient teaching methods.
Seasonal Volunteer training- Learn how to effectively work within a team of volunteers that helps with the logistics and flow of classes and events. Required training: one volunteer training session, seasonal refresher course available.(one required per year.) Tribal Edge Challenge- 75.00 Test all your skills in this ultimate adventure.
Courses Day courses: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Cost 75.00 Minimum of four participants, and a max of 24. Caretaking- Understand what self, others and the earth need to be well. Following principles of nature we will restore balance in the internal and external landscapes.
Containers- It is the space not the form which makes the container of use. Empty your cup as you work with plant and earth materials to make baskets, pottery, bowls and bags.
Hide tanning I- Learn the basic process of creating brain tanned buckskin and the many uses of hides.
Moving with nature- Be strong yet fluid as you become the earth in all its forms. Animal movement, tree travel, river floats, stalking, acrobatics and conditioning.
Plant uses- Get to know the many uses of the native plants and trees. Edible, medicinal and primary utility plants will be the focus.
Preparedness I- Are you and your family ready for anything. Get prepared with survival kits, long term preparedness for individuals, families and communities. Develop skills and strategies for the worst situations.
Self Protection- A crash course in staying safe in combat and survival.
Stone tools- An introduction to the ancient paleo arts of flint knapping and stone work.
Survival- The basic everything class. We will cover awareness, safety, shelter, water, fire and food. Learn the essential principles of surviving anywhere on the planet.
Tracking and awareness- Become attuned to your surroundings and understand more deeply the interactions and patterns of the natural world through the arts of tracking and observation.
Tree Climbing basics- Learn the ropes and basics of climbing trees with gear.
Weekend: 250.00- Friday night at 5:00 through Sunday at 3:00 Seminars- Length and cost vary; these intensives are usually with guest instructors.
Primal Arts Intensives: (prerequisites are suggested) Awareness Intensive (Prerequisite: Tracking and nature observation)- An experiential immersion into the unknown world of blind spots and perception. With the tools of observation, tracking, nature, and the group, we will explore the fabric of reality. Primitive living (Prerequisite: Survival)- Simulating the first three days of survival while specializing in some of the arts of living with the earth such as tool making, hunting and long term shelters. Healing Intensive (Prerequisite: Caretaking)- Exploring the natural healing methods of earth living in relation to the individual, the group, and the environment. Warrior weekend- (Prerequisite: Self Protection) Experience the tools and values of warriorship in a universal way that will affect you at every level of life. Team building intensive- Increase your productivity and reduce your stress while you come together as a group with a common purpose- to understand the nature of what it means to be a team. Gain insights in communication, responsibility, integrity, respect, leadership and service.
Mentoring intensive- Experience learning and teaching in an invisible yet natural way. Discover the subtle lessons of coyote teaching. Learn to cause others to encounter their own learning process.
Week-long: Sunday to Sunday. Vision Quest- see brochures. Cost: Donation (suggested value 550) Discover more about who you are and your purpose in life. The quest consists of a 4 day and 4 night solo experience in the purity of nature with no distractions as you fast from all things familiar. The program is eight days offering the preparation, protection and guidance needed to get the most out of this powerful, transforming experience. On-going programs
Edge-u-cation I, II, III, and IV*- See brochures The Edge-u-cation system offers support for your family and completes your child's home school or mainstream education as they transition through each stage of life. Through our curriculum, we foster the self-confidence, life skills and values our youth need in a way that empowers them to move towards their potential.
Edge-u-cation I: ages 7-11
Edge-u-cation II: ages 12-15
Edge-u-cation III: ages 16-25

Tribal Edge Apprentice- Experience a year long journey upon the path toward mastery of the primal arts. This training will lead you from introduction to expertise in the arts which are essential to being a fully alive human being living with purpose. One class per week for 50 weeks. Includes a variety of classes, training clubs and workshops. Ends with a Vision Quest. Cost: To be determined. Caretaker- A unique opportunity to live with the earth through the seasons. Mentoring- This program connects young people with leaders, instructors and volunteers training at Tribal Edge to create a naturally empowering learning environment. (Prerequisite- mentoring intensive or mentoring workshop.) Volunteer program- Join the Tribal Edge Volunteer team and help at classes you have attended. Or help other programs and events at Tribal Edge. Learn how to effectively work within a team of volunteers that Helps with the logistics and flow of classes and events.
