Edge-u-cation Home School Program
|
The Tribal Edge Edge-u-cation system offers support for your family and completes your child's home school or mainstream education as they transition through each stage of life. Through our curriculum, we foster the self-confidence, life skills and values our youth need in a way that empowers them to move towards their potential.
Outcome:
The Edge-u-cation program is designed to draw participants through experiential whole body learning to arrive at their own powerful self discoveries with real impact from real experiences. They are coached and guided through our curriculum by natural teaching methods of inspiration, questioning, and role modeling. As they journey through the lessons of nature and the group they face their edges are left feeling empowered with new insights that they discover.
As a result, participants find self confidence and a new passion for learning. They also develop respect for all life as they begin to see the interdependence and connection between all things. With awareness of self, others and nature, they gain a sense of purpose and of belonging to something that has meaning. There is a natural fostering of self reliance and self discipline as they take on personal challenges which is balanced by working within a group and developing communication and teamwork skills which teach unity and integrity. They gain problem solving skills through a balance of common sense, experience, traditional wisdom and intuition. In time they realize that they have the choice to create their quality of life and to take responsibility for their behavior and their circumstances.
